just popped in for a Sunday dinner and had a full roast lamb dinner with all the trimmings. Just excellent food and great atmosphere

The proprietor visited with regulars and newcomers, welcoming all. The pub grub and beer were fine. We arrived by BTS to Sala Daeng exit 2, did a 180 turn and walked to the basement of the United Centre building.

Another bar that is fashioned along the lines of what someone ’thinks’ an Irish bar should look like - it’s an ok place though, not busy but with a decent band and attentive staff - wasn’t that keen on the food offering which was, for me, bland and tasteless.

Never went back since got food posioned from Caesar salad with a cold poached egg on top....Always a danger to eat such a dish where the eggs are pre made and held. Beer and service was good enough but that didn’t help the two days I was begging for mercy...

This has fast become my favourite Bangkok pub but on Sunday I was very surprised to hear live jazz being jammed by some great professional musicians. Apparently, the famous Check-in 99 bar has had to change venues again and have landed on Silom! Various musicians who are playing in hotels etc, go to jam between 3pm and 5pm every Sunday.
